About Atlantic Baptist Seniors’ Housing:
Atlantic Baptist Housing over the past 47 years has established fourteen seniors’ housing complexes, catering to ten different communities, across all three Maritime Provinces. Many of our facilities are located in rural communities allowing seniors, at some capacity, to remain in their familiar, and family communities. Our facilities have become a small community within the community with tenants not having to leave the comfort of their building to be with friends, to meet new friends, playing games, organizing group bus trips, or just making a meal for someone who is under the weather.
Our facilities provide essential housing needs designed specifically for seniors with amenities such as spacious community rooms for social gatherings and elevators/automatic doors for easier access. These are a few practical ways Atlantic Baptist Housing is “Adding Life to Years” for seniors.
Atlantic Baptist Housing, as a nonprofit organization, works diligently at providing quality and affordable housing, and at times offers financial assistance through internal and external rental subsidy programs.
Atlantic Baptist Housing provides two levels of seniors’ housing: Independent and Enriched Housing.
Independent living is a great opportunity for Seniors to downsize from owning a home. Not having to worry about major repairs, snow and lawn care, and all the other major costs associated with owning a home, makes apartment living more manageable and affordable.
Enriched Living is independent living with added assistance with meals, laundry and housekeeping. Enriched Living allows seniors to continue to maintain and enjoy a quality of life that would not be possible without the little extras.
